Welcome...or, as they say, Akwaaba...

This will be my friendly blog for the next five weeks or so. It has all the trappings of a real Jeremy afterthought -- a week and a half late, totally unpersonalized, and hastily written -- but it will have to suffice. My internet connection in Ghana is too slow and unpredictable to worry about amenities such as colors, fonts, or content. Yet I am determined that this will not turn out like my Amsterdam blog (updated five times in as many months) so please enjoy and check back often!
